Welcome to our SATs information page where you can find resources and information about the tests our Year 6 pupils will be taking in ‘that week in May’.
Dates for the tests for 2026 are:
Monday 11th May: English grammar, punctuation and spelling
Tuesday 12thMay: English reading paper
Wednesday 13h May: mathematics papers 1 (arithmetic) and 2 (reasoning)
Thursday 14th May: mathematics paper 3 (reasoning)
Tests are a part of life, but we want to make them as least stressful as possible for both pupils and parents, so we have put together some FAQ below.
FAQ
What should I do if my child is ill on the day of a test:
Call us as soon as possible on the day for guidance.
What equipment does my child need:
Materials are provided in school.
When we find out the results:
Results are expected to be available for the school on the 9th July. We will aim to get these to you once our school checks have been completed and any administration has been finalised.
What revision should my child do:
Continue with the SATS buster books provided by the school. There are also many websites that can help your child revise. BBC Bitesize is comprehensive and covers all three papers.
